Flyer for Tuesday’s town hall on the budget.
As you all know, this year’s House budget is a multi-bill plan to get Alaska’s balance sheet back into the black while preserving vital services and the PFD. Because the House’s sensible plan involves taxing oil and gas companies appropriately, it is facing heavy opposition in the Senate.
Rep. Parish has set up a town hall for constituents on the budget. He’s bringing Randall Hoffbeck, Commissioner of the AK Dept. of Revenue, and he needs people – especially Valley residents – to come. Learn about the real plan, get your questions answered, tell him what you are worried about.
Details below.
Town hall constituent meeting
WHO: Rep. Justin Parish and Revenue Commissioner Randall Hoffbeck
WHERE: Mendenhall Valley Public Library, 3025 Dimond Park Loop
WHEN: 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2017
Your voice – yours – is important; please use it on Tuesday night.
